Meet Coach Julie
Meet Coach Julie, a professional fitness buddy, also known as a fitness accountability coach. Julie’s interest in fitness coaching began back in 2015 when she began CrossFit. Taking care of her health and getting consistent with exercise was one of her major goals. By the end of her first year of CrossFit, she was working out 5 times/week and competing in local competitions.
In 2016, Julie began looking for ways to help more people into fitness. While preparing to become a personal trainer and CrossFit trainer, she found that behavior change was a specialty that she loved. While moderating a large fitness Facebook group, Julie found that she had a knack for helping people set goals to become more consistent with fitness.
In 2019, Julie self-published a fitness journal called, Connect, Empower, Strengthen. The journal helps people to set weekly, monthly goals around their fitness, nutrition, sleep and stress management. In 2020, Julie began her Connect 2U coaching program to help clients get back into fitness after months of being isolated and unable to go to their gyms. In her group coaching programs, members found ways to rebuild consistency in their fitness amid the shutdown.
Julie is now looking to use her fitness training to coach 1:1 clients to find consistency in their fitness journeys. Through 1:1 goal setting sessions and weekly reflections, Julie helps people go from “kind of sort of working out” to working out on a consistent basis.
